There are many ways to hang your hammock chair: for example, using a beam, a sturdy branch, or to the ceiling. Regardless of which option you choose, you should make sure to check the load-bearing capacity of the elements before hanging.

If none of these alternatives are available to you, a hanging chair frame is a great choice to bring a hammock chair into your home. It can be placed wherever you want and moved around as needed.

How much space do I need to hang my hammock chair?

When hanging your hammock chair, you should make sure that there is enough space between the ends of the spreader bar and walls, furniture, or other objects. Depending on the size of your hammock chair, the minimum distance required from the wall is up to 35.5 inches. The required ceiling height ranges from 6’7” for basic hammock chairs to 7’3” for our kingsize options.

Always make sure that your hammock chair swings freely and does not graze the floor – 12 inches from the ground is recommended. This will protect your new chair from damage and keep you hammocking comfortably.

Which position is most comfortable in the hammock chair?

You want even more space to relax? Then you can spread out with family or friends in our kingsize hammock chair and enjoy it seated and lying down.

Can I wash my hammock chair?

For a refresh, you can wash your hammock chair at 86 degrees F on gentle cycle. The hammock chair bed fabric can be easily removed from the spreader bar to allow for a quick wash. Before washing, we recommend tying the suspension cords together so that they do not get tangled. After washing, you should air dry the hammock chair for best results. We do not recommend using a dryer.
